I went through 2 cheap plastic winders in the past year that either scratched my watches or died after a month, so I didn’t have high expectations. The second I pulled this out of the box I was blown away, solid black walnut wood with zero flimsy plastic parts, the soft velvet cushion holds my Submariner perfectly without any scuffs, and the magnetic door clicks shut so smoothly. No cheap rattles, no weird chemical smell, nice chooes.
